Literature for Young Learners
“I believe that every human mind feels pleasure in doing good to another.”
– Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson is absolutely right about that. I have been feeling great after having a small book drive ” Literature for Young Learners” in Bryant Park, New York City.
I was lucky to have my good friend, Maria and my husband on board. And the event wouldn’t have gone smoothly without the support from Magnolia Bakery, Freshdirect, and especially, everyone who showed up and donated books.
It was a three hour event, but it felt so short because we had such a great time. We got to talk about the event, my children’s book “Howard & Chloe Go to Bunnyland” and enjoyed the yummy cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery. Freshdirect sponsored the event with a gift card for supplies and snacks for the event. I cannot thank them enough.
We received a lot of books that I am going to divide them into 3 piles so that I can give them to people and children in need! Hopefully, I could run another book drive soon!
Thanks so much to our sponsors: Magnolia Bakery and Fresh Direct.

Hey Anne! 🙂 Feel free to do this only if you have time. Miss you!
